Fedora 16 Has Been Released, Download Now

inally! Softpedia is proud to announce that the highly anticipated Fedora 16 (Verne) Linux operating system has been released on the official torrent channels of the Fedora Project.

As expected, the Fedora Project developers unleashed a few minutes ago, November 8th, the immediate availability for download and testing of the final and stable version of the Fedora 16 operating system, dubbed Verne.

Fedora 16 (Verne) is powered by the newly released Linux kernel 3.1, it features the GNOME 3.2.1 desktop environment with the GNOME Shell interface and the KDE Software Compilation 4.7.2 environment.
