Brian Manderville has announced a couple of hours ago, April 28, that the 4th release of his Descent|OS Linux operating system is now available for download.
Unfortunately, the developer is attending the Linux Fest NorthWest and there’s no clear information about what’s new in Descent|OS 4.0. From a previous blog post, we know that it is now based on Debian Sid.
Descent|OS 4.0 should also include Steam for Linux, updated Compiz packages, a new Software Center inspired by Linux Deepin’s one, and the Chromium web browser.
