May 26, 2012 — Day 1:
Downloading Coda 2. The sting still lingers from having just spent almost a hundred bucks for an app I still have yet to experience. Judging from the screen shots and the reviews on the Mac App Store, Panic, Inc.’s sequel to one of the most famed and quintessential code editors looks like one of the best 2.0 redesigns of any app I’ve seen. Well, at least that’s what the screen shots show me.
Weighing in at over 113 megabytes, Coda 2 finished downloading. Not having enough time to fully appreciate and experience Coda 2, I decide to leave the rest for tomorrow. Time for a good night’s sleep.
May 27, 2012 — Day 2:
I hit up Espresso 2, one of many of my favorite apps and not to mention, my code editor of choice. I don’t know why I brought up Espresso instead of Coda, even though I downloaded it just a few moments ago, and this “wired-in” mood of creativity consumed me. To me, Espresso 2 is my preferred niche of a web development app, and the idea of having to use something unknown (I’ve never used Coda 1 before) to start something new felt both worrying, and exciting.
