Science is the effort of trying to understand how the physical world works. From observation and experimentation, science uses physical evidence of natural phenomena to compile data and analyze the collated information.
There are many different branches of science. One particularly close to my heart is astronomy, a natural science that deals with the study of celestial objects. For anyone who does not know, Sir Patrick is an amateur astronomer who has presented 705 episodes of The Sky at Night, over a 54 year period.
To provide an insight into the quality of software that is available, we have compiled a list of 9 high quality Android scientific applications. Hopefully there will be something of interest here for anyone who wants to learn more about the world in which we live in, and our universe.
Now, let’s explore the 9 scientific applications at hand. For each title we have compiled its own portal page, a full description with an in-depth analysis of its features, a screenshot, together with links to relevant resources and reviews. We give our highest recommendation to NASA App and Google Sky Map.
